• Assistant Principal - Dr. Webster

    Dr. Webster is an Ann Arbor Public School alumna, having attended Angell Elementary, Clague Middle School and Huron High School. She has served the Ann Arbor Public

    School community for more than thirty years: ten years as a classroom teacher at Angell Elementary, ten years as an elementary principal at Pattengill and Logan, eight years as a District Administrator, and most recently, three years as an assistant principal at Carpenter Elementary.

     

    Dr. Terra Webster has earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science and Social Science degree in Elementary Education, all from Eastern Michigan University.

     

    As an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion scholar, Dr. Webster has been an instrumental leader in the District’s equity work for more than 20 years. She has been a consultant and trainer on issues of racial and social justice. Dr. Webster presented at the Minority Student Achievement Network (MSAN) Conference in Washington, D.C. and Mr. Glenn Singleton’s Courageous Conversation Summit held in both New Orleans, Louisiana and San Francisco, California. Her mantra, “When addressing institutional racism, equity must be thee lens and not a lens.” Dr. Webster also served on the City of Ann Arbor’s A2Equitable Engagement as a steering committee member. 

     

    Dr. Terra Webster is excited to be joining the Allen community and is looking forward to learning, growing and laughing with the staff, students and community members.
